Permite is a prescription-strength permethrin cream, specifically a permethrin 5 cream, in a convenient 30 g tube. Used for rapid and effective elimination of scabies mites, lice, and their eggs, it delivers relief from intense itching and irritation. Apply a thin layer over affected areas—typically from neck to toes—and leave it on for 8–14 hours before rinsing off. In most cases, a single treatment suffices; however, a repeat dose may be recommended after one week to prevent recurrence.
