When someone wants to book a taxi, they just want it to be easy. Nobody wants to wait too long, wonder where the driver is, or worry about safety. That’s why apps like Uber and Ola became so popular. They made things simple. But now, something else is coming in to make things even smoother. It’s called the Internet of Things, or IoT for short. It sounds a bit techy, but it’s actually not that hard to understand once you break it down. The idea is pretty simple. IoT means connecting devices like phones, cars, and even traffic lights to the internet so they can talk to each other. Just like how you can send a message to your friend on WhatsApp, IoT devices send messages to each other. And when this happens inside taxi apps, a lot of small things suddenly start working better.
